Clinical Manager – female
Sam qualified as a Nurse in Portsmouth and worked at QA in elderly care and the Emergency Department before moving abroad with her husband and son. On her return she started working in Primary Care. Sam is a big advocate of Women’s Health and is a Queen’s Nurse.
She likes to read and enjoys swimming.
Kate Snowdon
Clinical Lead Nurse – female
I am currently the outreach nurse and also do some Practice Nursing. I enjoy helping issues around the menopause but like to be involved with many aspects of patient care in the team. I was a Community Nurse for a time and then moved into Practice nursing. I now get to combine the 2.
I have a dog called Max who keeps me company and like to socialise with friends when I can.

Dawn Martin
Nurse Practitioner – female
Dawn qualified as a nurse at St Richard’s hospital in Chichester in 1986. She worked predominantly on the women’s and children’s wards until moving to Hampshire in 2001 when she moved into primary care. Following completion of her prescribing qualification she has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2009 and enjoys working in the duty clinics managing same day appointment requests. She still has a strong interest in women’s and children’s health. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and being out and about in the countryside with her 2 boxer dogs. She is a home checker for a boxer dog charity and regularly helps to raise funds for dog rescue charities.
Yvonne Moffatt
Advanced Nurse Practitioner – female
I moved to Portsmouth in 2013 and joined QA as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department. Prior to working at QA I trained and worked in London as a Children’s Nurse in a mixture of settings. I worked in ED for 6 years before exploring other career pathways and worked for CAMHS and Private Healthcare before starting in Primary Care in 2020. I specialise in seeing Children and am a huge advocate for Veterans, serving military and their families. I am a military wife and you will find me either out with my Border Collie or Scuba Diving in my spare time.

Georgina Leech
Nurse- female
I have been a practice nurse at TMGP for almost 4.5 years now, prior to this I worked on a hospital surgical ward for 5 years.
I enjoy all aspects of my role, with a particular interest in women’s health, travel and diabetes. I enjoy working as part of a dedicated and caring nursing team, where it is a privilege to look after and care for our patients.
I have lived in Southsea all my life and when not at work I am happiest spending time with my friends, family and dog. I love living by the sea and am often found running or walking by it, or even better swimming in it.
Karen Foster
Nurse – female
Karen worked as an HCA at QAH before qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 2002.
I have worked in several practices within Portsmouth City and am passionate about providing a positive patient experience and working with the patient to optimise their health and wellbeing.
I have a keen interest in respiratory (COPD, Asthma and Spirometry), and I particularly enjoy being involved with women’s health, travel health and baby immunisations.
I live in Southsea and have lived in Portsmouth all my life and am very proud of the beautiful area I live and work in.
I have a grown up family with grand-children which keep me very busy! I enjoy exploring the UK and walking the coast path. I like reading, writing, baking and spending time with family and friends.
Zoe Davies

I am a new nurse having qualified in July 2021. I grew up in Herne Bay, Kent and moved to Southsea in September 2018 to start my training in Adult Nursing at the University of Portsmouth.
I have loved being a part of the nursing team at Trafalgar Medical Group Practice continue to learn and develop every day. It has been wonderful to progress as a practice nurse so far and I finished my qualification in Foundations of General Practice Nursing at Bournemouth university recently.
Paige Wood

After qualifying as a Nurse from The University of East Anglia in 2017, I worked in Southampton Emergency Department until joining Primary care in 2022. I am always keen to learn new skills and feel I’m very passionate about education. I love working in a team, supporting colleagues and I feel very strongly about advocating for our patients.
In my spare time I’m usually out exploring with my young daughters who love being outside, whatever the weather!
Ellen Lancaster

I’m Ellen, a Registered Nurse. I studied Adult Nursing at the University of Southampton in 2019.
My nursing background is in District Nursing, and I have worked as a Community Sister prior to starting with TMGP.
I was born in Portsmouth and have lived in Southsea since 2019.
I have a lovely Cockapoo, and enjoy walks at the beach and enjoying the outdoors. I have a passion for baking and often bake treats to share with my colleagues!
I am a compassionate and dedicated nurse, I look forward to developing my skills and working with the excellent team at TMGP to care for our lovely patients.
Jack Olredge
Jack Orledge, Respiratory Physiologist
I’m Jack and I’m a Respiratory Physiologist working for Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust at QAH and St Mary’s Hospital. I started working for PHU in November 2021 and my role involves performing and interpreting the results from a range of pulmonary function tests with patients, ranging from baseline spirometry, through to comprehensive asthma work ups and cardiopulmonary exercise tests.
My background is in exercise physiology with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Human and Applied Physiology. Since the covid-19 pandemic however, I have transitioned to clinical sciences after working for the School of Health and Care Professions at the University of Portsmouth and then Solent NHS Trust’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation service.
I am currently competing my ARTP level 3 practitioner qualification and in September 2024 I am due to start an MSc degree in Clinical Physiology specialising in respiratory.
Healthcare Assistants
Healthcare Assistants role is to support the practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, new patient checks and spirometry. They may also act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
